The Conference on Consumer Finance Law is holding its Annual Consumer Financial Services Conference on September 15th -16th at Loyola University School of Law in Chicago. This is a two-day conference in the Power Rogers and Smith Courtrooms. On the first day, issues common to many types of companies or of general interest will be addressed. On the second day, there will be two separate tracks in the morning. Track One on Day 2 will address mortgage lending and servicing issues. The Conference on Consumer Finance Law is a nonprofit corporation that encourages study and research in the field of consumer finance law, makes available information on the history, changes in, and current status of laws and regulations that govern consumer finance, and promotes, through publications and educational programs, the sound development of consumer finance law, which includes laws affecting all types of financial institutions and businesses that offer consumer credit. The Conference publishes the Consumer Finance Law Quarterly Report, the price of which is included in its annual membership dues of $95, along with online access to its contents.
