 Drexel Beck is a mortgage and lending consultant. Drexel received his B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama in 1973. He is retired from the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance where he served for 30 years as a regulator of banks, credit unions, international banks, mortgage brokers and mortgage lenders. During the mid-1980’s, Drexel took leave from the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance to serve as a Vice President of Reliance Trust Company in Atlanta, GA. Drexel joined the firm in October 2003. He assists the firm’s lender and broker clients by conducting compliance reviews and loan reviews, drafting regulatory examination responses, and conducting fraud detection and prevention. He is accredited as a Certified Examinations Manager by the Conference of State Bank Supervisors and is a past member of the Society of Financial Examiners where he was accredited as a Certified Financial Examiner. Drexel is active with the Georgia Mortgage Bankers Association, Georgia Association of Mortgage Brokers and the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Association of Mortgage Brokers and its Legislative Committee, and is an instructor with the Georgia Association of Mortgage Brokers Education Foundation.
